I liked how helpful and friendly the staff were. Even though the receptionist was engaged on a call when we arrived, her colleague quickly came over to help us start our check in. The receptionist explained when breakfast would be available, their dinner dining options, WiFi, room facilities and answered our questions. When we were leaving, Emma, the receptionist, offered to assist us our car with our luggage. That was very kind. The restaurant catered to our nutritional requests. The room was of a high standard. Located on the top floor/loft floor of the hotel. The big roof window was easy to open/close and offered a nice breeze during our warm summer weather. We could tell that thought had been put into the decor and arrangement of the room, with each bed having several pillows to choose from, modern wall coverings, plush carpet and a well stocked mini bar. I particularly liked that the shower was (a) simple to use with one dial for temperature and another for pressure and (b) the shower head was on one wall and the controls on the opposite wall, allowing us to set pressure and temperature and avoid being soaked/frozen/scalded when doing so. This was well thought out and considerate for guests. The restaurant team were organised and well coordinated, and food well presented and tasty. There was a wedding on when we attended but there was no noise or disturbance for our stay or sleep. There was ample car parking. We were delighted when we arrived to see lots of guests on their sun terrace enjoying themselves. We knew we had chosen a good hotel.

Superb room with an excellent bathroom with a walk in shower as requested. Great toiletries and space in the bathroom for our own toiletries etc. Very comfortable bed. Good selection of teas coffees + a ‘mini bar’ with other snacks. Powerful hairdryer. More power points than we’ve ever seen in a hotel room plus at least 4 usb points. Everywhere extremely clean. We didn’t have breakfast as I no longer eat before midday but we had an evening meal here with our son who lives nearby. Very impressed with the food and the service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming. When we’d found we needed an extra night to spend a bit more time with 2 of our grandchildren we’d booked somewhere cheaper for our 5th night. But after seeing the room we checked to see if this was still free and added another night here, then cancelled the other. In our future visits to Aberdeen, the Palm Court Hotel will be our first choice. Even the location was perfect for us - only a 6 minute walk from our son’s (timed by him)

Our room was spotlessly clean. There was hot chocolate and caramel wafers and mugs . Food was very tasty and very large portions. Lots of different cooked breakfasts to try- we had buttery with haggis, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce, stack of pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, kedgeree and wrap with rice and vegetables, all delicious. Bus stop into Aberdeen very close to the hotel meant we could leave the car at the hotel. Bed was very comfortable and we slept well. All the staff we met were very friendly and approachable.

The facilities were excellent. The food was good. More importantly the staff from the receptionist , bar staff and breakfast waitress all seemed really happy and engaged in working in this hotel, a rare experience having stayed in many hotels over the years. The management team clearly are doing something right. We'll done. Beverley is a very busy lady she seemed to make sure that everyone was happy and they were looked after

Located in a quiet suburb of Aberdeen, but close enough to the ring road to get around Aberdeen and beyond, rooms are lovely, modern, clean and fresh, staff are very friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in !! There is a lovely bar area and a lovely separate restaurant area, food is available all day, there are also other function rooms available for weddings, etc, a good amount of free parking too.
